The Company:

Our well-established client specializes in the design and manufacture of innovative, high-performance packaging, from simple corrugated cardboard boxes to highly engineered transit packaging for a multitude of applications and industries. Operating out a modern production facility on the outskirts of Swindon, the company works with clients both locally and throughout the UK.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Team leader/Forklift Driver with a valid license in Counter Balance and Reach to work in a busy warehouse. The role involves coordinating daily shift activities, forklift and general warehouse duties, therefore, communication and computer literacy skills are essential. The warehouse holds a wide range of stock items for our customers. You must be self – motivated and able to work on your own initiative as well as leading a small team. Accuracy and efficiency are key to this role.


  • Coordinating daily shift activities
  • Deliver completion of tasks within agreed quality standards causing no delay to the overall process of delivery of product to our Customers
  • Plan workloads according to the Managers schedule
  • Operate forklift trucks safely in a busy warehouse
  • Allocate and pick stock to maintain correct stock rotation
  • Load vehicles safely, accurately and within agreed timescales
  • Locate product safely and accurately
  • Condense and relocate product to maximise available space
  • Oversee stock entering and leaving the warehouse(s) maintain accurate stock levels and obtain highest quality and presentation of product
  • Carry out stock checks as instructed by Warehouse Supervisor & Manager
  • Carry out projects as instructed by Warehouse Supervisor & Manager
  • Securing and locking up of the site in the evening

Qualifications / Experience / Skill set:

  • Positive attitude
  • Lead by example
  • Previous Warehouse team leader experience
  • Able to carry out physical work picking and loading some things by hand
  • Current and valid accredited forklift training certificates. (both Reach and Counterbalance)
  • Experience of working within a similar warehouse operation
  • Must be self-motivated to work on his/her own for part of the day.
  • Able to prioritise and multitask
  • Must be competent on a truck and work at a reasonable speed as not to cause no delay to the overall processes

Pay: £9.40 – £11.30 / Hour (D.O.E)


Hours: 13:30 to 22:00, Monday to Friday
